Gorgeous Vintage Wedding at the Bowdon Rooms

I have such an incredible wedding to share with you today. The gorgeous Bethany and Simon married on a beautiful autumn day at the Bowdon Rooms, Cheshire. It was an amazing jam-packed day of fun, laughter and entertainment.

I have known the beautiful bride Bethany for a few years, as she is a fellow wedding supplier. Bethany was one of the first Northern wedding suppliers I met when we moved up to Cheshire, and is an incredible vintage hair and make up artist and owns the amazing Vintage Beauty Parlour in Chorlton. Which is where I started Bethany and Simon’s wedding day with bridesmaids preparations in the beauty parlour, and Bethany just next door. We then headed off in an awesome vintage bus to the Bowdon Room’s where Simon was waiting down the aisle for Bethany. After a wonderful service and lots of confetti, the guests were entertained while sipping champagne by the always amazing, Kiki deVille and Vintage 78 DJ’s.

Before the speeches and wedding breakfast, Bethany, Simon and their families hopped back on the vintage bus, and we popped down the road to Denzell Gardens for family photographs and portraits. The gardens were so pretty, with the ground blanketed in beautiful autumn colours.

After superb speeches and a fantastic surprise film, from Bethany and Simons friends, it was on to the evening, with a gorgeous first dance, followed with entertainment by The Gypsies of Bohemia and Kiki deVille. Then a wedding first for me!! Burlesque. Bethany and Simon asked the marvellous Millie Dollar (who I believe came out of retirement for their day) to come along and perform. I have never seen Burlesque before, and I was well and truly mesmerised. It was such an honour to have been asked by Bethany and Simon to capture their day, working with fellow wedding industry folks is such a massive honour, thank you so much both.
