Flaneford Priory Wedding Photography

Felicity and Richard had a beautiful church wedding in September followed by celebrations at historic Flanesford Priory. It was a perfect sunny September day and I was so pleased where were gifted with the photographers dream light golden hour for Felicity and Richard portraits. Felicity wore a fabulous lace and tulle Pronovias gown from All About Eve, with gorgeous blue LK bennett suede blue shoes. Felicity’s bridesmaids wore the beautiful navy dresses with lace detailing from Coast. Richard and his men complimented in very dapper navy suits. I particularly like Felicity’s dad ‘accessorising’ of his suit with his map of the world waistcoat (he’s a geography teacher!).

The whole day was really elegant, with a little rustic edge and what really struck me was the most amazing flowers everywhere from my wonderfully talented Lucy G, June bride Victoria ( Flowers by Victoria). The church (St Michaels and All angels, Mitchel Troy) was filled with fresh summer blooms, with a beautiful archway leading into church and jam jars full of flowers lining the aisle. After and wonderful service and an afternoon of fun, with great food and brilliant speeches, It was time to hit the dance floor, we where entertained by the brilliant Velveteens. It always makes me giggle that almost always without fail – as soon as the music starts the littlest members of the wedding party always take straight to the floor. I really enjoy shooting the party at the end of the night and Felicity and Richard’s wedding was a great celebration with everyone throwing some serious shapes. With the backdrop of the fab light up ‘LOVE’ by my friends Aisle Hire It and the sparkly starlight ceiling and dance floor looked amazing.
