Lyde Court Herefordshire Wedding Photographer

I have such a special wedding to share with you today! Gemma and Alfie’s amazing day at one of my favourite Herefordshire wedding venues, Lyde Court.

Gemma is a jeweller, all the creations you see in this post are her own, so much hard work, care and attention to detail was put into this amazing wedding, the personalised spoon favours being my favourite as I got one too! Thank you! Gemma even made the cufflinks for the groomsmen and necklaces for the bridesmaids, which is such a special touch. I had so much fun photographing your wedding at Lyde Court, Gemma and Alfie your family and friends were lovely, I cant thank them enough for welcoming me, you guys feeding me and treating me like a old friend, weddings like yours make me love my job even more!

I started the day with Gemma and her bridesmaids at Lyde court, then it was off to St Michaels Church in Sutton for a lovely service and a very spectacular confetti tunnel. As we arrived back at Lyde Court, everyone was treated to yummy soup when they arrived, such a wonderful idea for a winter wedding! Gemma and Alfie’s little boy Henry kept everyone entertained! After the wedding breakfast not forgetting the brilliant and quite emotional speeches, everyone headed up the garden for a bonfire and sparklers!! The night ended with a lovely first dance and including an epic dance off! There are so many reasons why I love Lyde Court, it is such a fantastic relaxed venue with so many gorgeous places to take photographs.
