Grace and Tobias’ Wedding at Birmingham Registry office and Rowheath Pavilion | Wedding Photography Birmingham |

Last week, I photographed Grace and Tobias’s Wedding, nothing too unusual there after all this is my job! But this wedding was very different to any wedding I have ever been to or photographed ,because Grace is one of my very good friends! We both lived on the same road growing up and walked to and from school together everyday, we mostly talked about boys and what we were going to do together at the weekend. This really only felt like yesterday we where both walking across Billesley common in our bottle green uniforms! But there I was on the morning of little Grace from up the roads wedding watching her exchange vows and rings with the lovely Tobias, it did feel a little strange but I know they are ment to be together. It was such a honor to capture Grace’s special day. 😀How gorgeous where Grace’s flowers! They where all grown in her Grandpa’s garden! Grace and her Grandpa used florist tape to secure the bouquets and in the morning while photographing Grace getting ready I helped wrap cream ribbon around them.

The photos right above is Grace on the phone to Tobias in the morning, checking everything was ok!

Grace’s and the bridemaids wedding morning brakfast (Last nights pizza and croissants )

Love Grace’s Irregular Choice shoes!

See if you can spot me?!

I had to include and share the photo below it just made me giggle too much!!

Grace and Tobias put a lot of time and effort into creating there perfect wedding details, from the moment they got engaged Grace had a million ideas what she wanted for her wedding, luckily she is from a very crafty family! All the female members got together a few weeks before the wedding for a crafting afternoon. I think this is such a great idea, they all got together and made lots of bunting and the rag rug hearts. All the crockery was collected from different charity shops, and the cake was made by Graces Auntie and Cousin it was a real family effort. It definitely made it all the more special that so many people had helped make their day.

Durring the evening the guests where treated to some great performances, Tobias’s nephew played the trumpet for us and Grace’s Auntie Emma surprised us all with her incredible voice singing a song she had sung at Grace’s mum and dads wedding. Then came the hilarious speeches which ethier had everyone in flood of tears due to laughter or emotion, and last but no means least we were treated to a special performance by Poppy and the Jezebels (Grace and I went to school with them). The last song ‘Be My Baby’ was performed by Grace as a special surprise for Tobias.

Lots of love Lucy xx
